The Focal IC MBZ 100 combines a compact 100mm Flax-cone driver and integrated aluminium inverted-dome tweeter. It improves vocal detail, instrument definition and treble coverage from selected earlier Mercedes-Benz factory positions.

The IC MBZ 100 may be listed in Standard and Burmester systems, but amplifier processing and channel filtering vary. The original and V2 IC MBZ products support different mounting arrangements.
2-Way Coaxial Speaker Design
The IC MBZ 100 combines its woofer and tweeter within one assembly. This coaxial configuration reproduces midrange and high-frequency information from a single compatible factory position and is particularly suited to selected rear-door or supplementary locations.
100mm Flax Sandwich-Cone Driver
The natural flax-fibre core and glass-fibre skins balance stiffness, low mass and damping. The result is a clear, natural midrange from a shallow vehicle-specific chassis.
Integrated Aluminium Inverted-Dome Tweeter
The centrally integrated aluminium tweeter provides rapid response and broad high-frequency dispersion without requiring a separate mount.
Sound Performance and Bass Response
The IC MBZ 100 begins its response at approximately 150Hz and is intended for midrange and treble coverage. Compatible Mercedes-Benz woofers reproduce the lower frequencies.

Dedicated connectors and shallow mounting dimensions support selected original Mercedes-Benz positions. The original IC MBZ 100 may be required where the deeper V2 product is unsuitable.
Compatible Applications
The IC MBZ 100 is listed for selected C-Class, E-Class, EQC, EQE and GLC applications. Some positions require IC MBZ 100 V2, ICR MBZ 100 or ICC MBZ 100 instead.

Preserve the Original Interior
Once installed in a confirmed application, the IC MBZ 100 remains concealed behind compatible original Mercedes-Benz trim and factory grilles. The dashboard, doors and factory controls retain their original appearance, and the installation can remain substantially reversible when original wiring and trim are preserved.
