The Focal SUB 10 WM is a breakthrough in subwoofer design — the first to feature Focal’s legendary ‘M’-profile ‘W’ sandwich cone. By combining advanced materials with precision acoustic engineering, it delivers tight, controlled, and deeply expressive bass from an ultra-compact sealed enclosure as small as 10 litres.
Engineered for audiophile accuracy and visceral power, the SUB 10 WM integrates a massive 4.7″ (120mm) dual voice coil and a high-power neodymium motor, achieving a perfect balance between output, efficiency, and precision. The result is unrivalled dynamics, fast transient response, and signature Utopia M musicality — even in confined cabin spaces.

‘M’-Profile ‘W’ Sandwich Cone
Developed exclusively by Focal, the patented ‘M’-profile merges lightness, rigidity, and damping into one perfectly engineered cone. This construction produces deep, linear bass with ultra-low distortion and exceptional tonal definition — the foundation of true high-fidelity performance.
TMD® Surround
Borrowed from Focal’s acclaimed Sopra loudspeakers, the Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) surround minimises cone deformation and resonance. The result is pure, distortion-free bass, even at high excursion levels, ensuring faithful reproduction of every note.
Progressive Spider
A key Focal innovation, the progressive spider enhances control, precision, and dynamics, maintaining full linearity and impact. It allows the cone to move freely for deeper, cleaner bass while retaining complete mechanical stability.
