The Tesla Model 3 Highland Premium Audio upgrade is a comprehensive Focal Inside speaker solution developed for compatible 2024-onwards Tesla Model 3 vehicles.
The package upgrades 13 speaker locations throughout the cabin, including the front centre channel, dashboard speakers, front-door upper-midrange speakers, front-door woofers, rear-door speakers and rear parcel-shelf speakers.
The original Tesla touchscreen, factory amplifier, audio processing and integrated vehicle functions are retained. All upgraded speakers are installed behind the original interior panels, maintaining the clean and minimalist appearance of the Model 3 cabin.
Focal does not currently offer a direct replacement for the factory rear parcel-shelf subwoofers. These remain connected and operational unless an alternative custom bass solution is designed by an Authorised Focal Australia Dealer.
Pack Description
Improve the Premium Audio system in your Tesla Model 3 Highland with a comprehensive selection of vehicle-specific Focal Inside speakers.
Tesla’s factory Premium Audio system provides multiple speaker locations, integrated amplification and digital audio processing. However, the overall performance of the system is still influenced by the quality, construction and acoustic capability of the original speakers.
This upgrade replaces the primary factory speakers with Focal Inside models featuring Focal’s Flax cone technology, aluminium inverted-dome tweeters and compact neodymium motors.
The front sound stage is substantially upgraded through a combination of the ICC T3Y 100 centre-channel speaker, IS T3Y 100 dashboard and upper-door speakers, and the larger IW T3Y 200 front-door woofers.
At the rear, two IC T3Y 100 coaxial speaker kits upgrade the rear doors and rear parcel shelf. This improves rear-seat listening quality while creating better tonal consistency and sound distribution throughout the cabin.
The result is a clearer, more detailed and better-balanced version of the Tesla Premium Audio system without replacing the factory touchscreen, amplifier or integrated audio controls.
Why Upgrade the Tesla Premium Audio System?
The Tesla Model 3 Premium Audio system offers a sophisticated factory layout, but the original speakers can still restrict clarity, tonal accuracy, dynamics and mid-bass control.
Replacing the factory speakers with Focal Inside components allows the original Tesla electronics to operate through substantially more capable loudspeakers.

The aluminium inverted-dome tweeters improve high-frequency detail and sound dispersion, helping create a more precise and open listening experience.
The larger IW T3Y 200 front-door woofers provide stronger and more controlled mid-bass, improving the weight and impact of music without requiring visible modifications to the vehicle.
Because the Tesla touchscreen, factory amplifier and audio processing remain in place, the vehicle retains its original functionality and familiar user experience.

ICC T3Y 100 Front Centre Channel
The ICC T3Y 100 is a vehicle-specific centre-channel speaker designed for compatible Tesla Model 3 and Model Y applications.
Positioned in the centre of the dashboard, it helps improve:

The first IS T3Y 100 component kit is used to upgrade the front dashboard speakers and door-pillar tweeters where compatible factory mounting locations are available.

Focal does not currently offer a vehicle-specific direct replacement for the factory rear parcel-shelf subwoofers fitted to the Tesla Model 3 Highland.
The original subwoofers can remain in operation alongside the upgraded Focal speakers. However, owners wanting greater low-frequency depth, impact or output may wish to discuss a custom bass upgrade with an Authorised Focal Australia Dealer.
Depending on the vehicle and the desired result, possible solutions may include:
