The Focal IS BMW 100 K brings Focal K2 technology to selected BMW-family factory locations. It combines a 100mm K2 sandwich-cone woofer with a separate TKM aluminium/magnesium M-profile tweeter for improved dynamics, tonal precision and soundstage definition.

2-Way Component Speaker Design
The IS BMW 100 K installs its woofer and tweeter in separate compatible factory locations. The woofer reproduces midrange and upper-bass information, while the separate tweeter handles high-frequency detail. This arrangement improves soundstage height, width and vocal placement.
100mm K2 Sandwich-Cone Woofers
The K2 sandwich cone balances low mass, rigidity and damping using an aramid-fibre structure and foam core. It responds quickly, resists deformation and reproduces vocals, guitars and percussion with strong detail and control.
TKM M-Profile Aluminium/Magnesium Tweeters
The separate TKM tweeters use an aluminium/magnesium M-profile inverted dome. The profile increases rigidity and radiating area, improving treble definition and soundstage placement in compatible factory locations.
Sound Performance and Bass Response
The IS BMW 100 K provides dynamic midrange and upper-bass performance. Deep bass remains the responsibility of the correctly matched BMW under-seat woofer or a separate subwoofer system.
