Large-Format Component Sound for Compatible Toyota Vehicles
The Focal IS TOY 690 combines 150 x 230mm elliptical Polyglass woofers with separate aluminium inverted-dome tweeters. Its large cone area improves mid-bass impact, efficiency and soundstage definition while retaining selected Toyota factory locations.
Toyota Factory Audio Compatibility

The IS TOY 690 is intended for compatible non-amplified systems. Premium JBL, Mark Levinson and other amplified systems use different speaker loads and processing. A 6×9 factory opening alone does not confirm compatibility.
2-Way Component Speaker Design
The IS TOY 690 installs its woofer and tweeter in separate compatible factory locations. The woofer reproduces midrange and upper-bass information, while the separate tweeter handles high-frequency detail. This arrangement improves soundstage height, width and vocal placement.
Large 150 x 230mm Polyglass Woofers
The large elliptical woofers move more air than many round factory speakers, providing strong mid-bass and greater musical impact. Polyglass technology keeps the cone controlled and detailed.
Separate Aluminium Inverted-Dome Tweeters
The separate aluminium tweeters provide rapid, widely dispersed high-frequency reproduction and help raise the soundstage from compatible upper positions.
Sound Performance and Bass Response
The published response extends to approximately 50Hz, providing a fuller tonal foundation and strong mid-bass. A dedicated subwoofer is still required for deeper bass.

Build a Complete Focal Inside Audio System
The IS TOY 690 can be combined with IC TOY 165 rear speakers, a suitable subwoofer and Focal amplification in a confirmed non-amplified system.
Preserve the Original Interior
Once installed in a confirmed application, the IS TOY 690 remains concealed behind compatible original Toyota trim and factory grilles. The dashboard, doors and factory controls retain their original appearance, and the installation can remain substantially reversible when original wiring and trim are preserved.

Professional installation of the IS TOY 690 is recommended. The installer must confirm the exact speaker position, mounting depth, connector, polarity, acoustic sealing and clearance from windows or surrounding trim.
