The Focal ISUB BMW 8 is a 200mm vehicle-specific under-seat woofer designed to replace compatible 8-ohm BMW and MINI bass drivers. Its Polyglass cone and neodymium motor improve low-frequency definition while retaining the discreet original enclosure.

BMW and MINI vehicles may use 2-ohm, 4-ohm or 8-ohm woofers according to the Standard Audio, Hi-Fi or Harman Kardon configuration. The original impedance must be measured or confirmed before ordering.

The shallow 200mm woofer is engineered for selected BMW and MINI under-seat enclosures. It preserves passenger and luggage space while distributing low-frequency energy through the cabin.
Polyglass Cone and Neodymium Motor
Polyglass construction balances rigidity and damping, while the compact neodymium motor controls cone movement. Bass transients become tighter and more clearly defined.
Bass Performance and Low-Frequency Control
The published response extends to approximately 35Hz, adding weight and control to drums and bass instruments. Final output depends on the original enclosure, factory amplifier, processing and installation sealing.

Correct 8-Ohm Impedance Matching Is Essential
The ISUB BMW 8 must only replace a compatible 8-ohm woofer. Installing the wrong impedance changes amplifier loading and output. A powered Standard Audio upgrade may instead require a 2-ohm woofer.
