The dedicated left and right 200mm Polyglass subwoofers install within compatible original front floorpan or footwell locations. They improve bass extension, impact and control while preserving interior space and factory-style integration.

The ISUB MBZ 2 RHD is specifically shaped for compatible right-hand-drive vehicle locations. It should not be substituted with the left-hand-drive version.

200mm Weighted Black Polyglass Cones
Each 200mm subwoofer uses a weighted Black Polyglass cone. Fine glass microbeads applied to a cellulose-based cone increase rigidity while retaining useful damping.
The design supports deeper and more controlled bass than the matching midrange speaker kits, with improved definition in drums, bass instruments and low-frequency effects.
Neodymium Motors for Restricted Factory Locations
Compact neodymium motors provide the magnetic control required for useful low-frequency output within the limited depth available in the original Mercedes-Benz floorpan locations.

The ISUB MBZ 2 RHD has a nominal impedance of 2 ohms. The original factory amplifier or approved aftermarket amplifier must be suitable for the connected load.
A physical fit does not confirm electrical compatibility. Do not replace a different-impedance factory subwoofer without verifying the complete system.
Factory Audio and Aftermarket Amplification Require Separate Assessment
The subwoofer pair may be listed as a speaker replacement in selected Standard, Advanced and Burmester systems. The exact application must still be confirmed.
Adding an aftermarket amplifier is a separate integration task. Focal amplification solutions are not intended for factory-amplified or premium hi-fi systems unless an approved configuration is specifically listed.

Pair with Compatible Mercedes-Benz Speakers
The subwoofer pair can form part of a complete Focal Inside system with compatible IS MBZ component speakers, IC MBZ coaxial speakers, the ICC MBZ 100 centre channel and ICR MBZ 100 surround speakers.
The subwoofers handle the lower frequencies while the other speakers reproduce vocals, instruments and high-frequency detail.
System Tuning and Factory Processing
Replacing the subwoofers does not remove factory equalisation, bass limiting, active crossover settings or volume-dependent processing.
Where an aftermarket amplifier or DSP is used, gain, crossover frequency, polarity and channel level should be adjusted to integrate the subwoofers with the rest of the system.
Retain the Original Interior and Cabin Space
In a confirmed application, the ISUB MBZ 2 RHD remains concealed in the original front floorpan or footwell locations. Boot space, seating space and visible interior appearance remain unchanged.
